We come from a family of farmers in Jalgaon, India, which is often called as ‘Banana City of India’.
Here, in our ancestoral farms we have been cultivating bananas for generations and we all have nurtured this land with care and dedication.
Over time, we noticed a growing trend: people are consuming more and more fried snacks that are often full of starch and unhealthy additives. We realized there was an opportunity to combine our family’s heritage with a modern need—a high-quality, delicious and clean snack.
This inspired us to start a small ‘Banana Chips’ business in India which is dedicated to turning premium raw bananas into crispy, flavorful chips.
Now, looking at the snack market in Finland, we strongly feel this kind of wholesome, tasty snack is completely missing here.
Hence with “Grippis”, we aim to introduce a snack that is not only crunchy and satisfying but also rooted in tradition, quality, and care.
